Royal Rangers Central Region A
The Royal Rangers Central Region A joins the entire fraternity of Assemblies of God, Ghana, in celebrating a monumental achievement for our spiritual father and leader. Our General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, has been officially recognized in the prestigious Top 100 Ghanaian Power List for 2026.
This recognition, curated by Avance Media, highlights the most influential personalities in Ghana who are shaping the nation’s future through leadership, integrity, and impactful service. For us in the Royal Rangers, this is more than just a title; it is a testament to the "Transformation Agenda" and the "6 Rs" (Reach, Rebuild, Restore, Reform, Reposition, and Rebrand) that Rev. Wengam has championed since assuming office.
A Leader of Impact and Vision
Rev. Wengam’s inclusion on this list is rooted in his tireless dedication to both the church and the state. As the General Superintendent of the largest Protestant denomination in the world's Ghanaian wing, his influence has been pivotal in:
* National Stability: Championing peace and patriotic citizenship during his 2026 Watch Night message, where he urged Ghanaians to embrace "authentic faith" for nation-building.
* Global Presence: Successfully positioning Ghana to host the 2026 World Congress of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, the first time this historic event will be held on African soil.
* Spiritual Mentorship: Leading the church through the "Faith of Our Fathers" national prayer and fasting sessions, strengthening the spiritual fiber of the nation.
Why This Matters to Royal Rangers
As Royal Rangers, our mission is to Evangelize, Equip, and Empower the next generation. Rev. Wengam embodies the very core values we instill in our boys and girls: Servant Leadership.
When our General Superintendent is recognized alongside the nation’s top political, business, and traditional leaders, it sends a clear message to every Ranger in Central Region A: With God and a heart for service, there are no limits.
"Even though there will be challenging moments, 2026 will bring greater prosperity and favor... model godly living to defend the legacy of faith." — Rev. Stephen Wengam
A Call to Action for Central Region A
As we prepare for our various regional activities and the upcoming World Congress, let us draw inspiration from this feat. Let this recognition fuel our passion to:
* Excel in our Outposts: Strive for the highest standards in our Ranger ranks.
* Uphold the Code: Be alert, clean, honest, courageous, loyal, courteous, obedient, and spiritual.
* Pray for Leadership: Continue to intercede for Rev. Wengam and the Executive Presbytery as they lead us into this year of "Greater Exploits."
We congratulate our General Superintendent on this well-deserved honor. We are proud to serve under a leader whose light shines so brightly that the entire nation cannot help but take notice.
