CAMPOJOY 25 POST-CAMP REPORT

Theme: PRAY without ceasing for JOY
Location: Ekumfi Abor
Dates: December 24th – 27th, 2025
1. Executive Summary
CampOjoy '25 successfully brought together members from the Mfantseman East and West districts for a four-day residential program at Ekumfi Abor. The camp served as a platform for spiritual growth, physical endurance, and leadership training, concluding with a strong sense of unity among all participants.
2. Participation & Demographics
The camp saw a diverse turnout with a near-equal balance of gender and a wide range of age groups.
Total Attendance: 80 Registrants 

3. Program Highlights
Spiritual & Educational Growth

 * Church Services: Daily services provided a spiritual foundation for the camp. A notable highlight was the Thursday service led by Rev. Thomson, the current Mfantseman East District Secretary, which offered profound guidance to the campers.


 * Class Sections: Targeted educational sessions were held, including specialized training for Outpost Leaders on Friday, ensuring that leadership skills are passed down to the next generation.


Physical Endurance & Adventure

 * "Campojoy Most Strongest": A high-energy competition on Thursday that tested the physical limits and grit of the participants.


 * Treasure Hunting & Hiking: These activities fostered teamwork and navigation skills. The hiking expedition, which spanned from Friday night into Saturday morning, was a true test of perseverance.

 
* Games: Friday featured both indoor and outdoor games, highlighted by a "Rep Your Jersey" event that allowed campers to showcase their team spirit.


Daily Discipline
Every day began with Raising and Devotion, followed by rigorous Endurance and Patrol Reporting. This structure instilled a sense of discipline and responsibility in the Rangers.
4. Key Milestones
 * Successful Hiking Expedition: All participants returned safely on Saturday morning for the final day of activities.

 * Leadership Engagement: Having 32 leaders and commanders present provided a high ratio of mentorship for the younger Rangers.
 
* Social Cohesion: The camp concluded with a "Party and Friends Making" session, solidifying the bonds formed during the week.
5. Conclusion
Campojoy '25 was a resounding success. From the arrival on Wednesday to the Closing Parade on Saturday, the Rangers demonstrated growth in character and strength. The campers departed on Saturday afternoon, carrying with them new skills, strengthened faith, and lifelong memories.
