WINNEBA, GHANA — The Royal Rangers Central Region 'A' (RRCR1) successfully hosted a vital three-day training program for its dedicated commanders and leaders at the Winneba Central Assemblies of God church. This intensive program, held from 28th November 2025 at 1300HRS to 29THNovember2025 at 1730HRS, was designed to sharpen the skills, reinforce the commitment, and enhance the safety knowledge of the region’s leadership, ensuring the highest standards in the "Reach, Teach, and Keep" mission.
A total of 52 Commanders and Leaders from across RRCR1 participated, underscoring the region’s commitment to continuous professional development.
📚 Training Curriculum Highlights
The training was structured around three core pillars essential for effective Royal Rangers ministry:
1. Rangers Fundamentals
This track focused on the foundational principles, structure, and ethos of the Royal Rangers program, ensuring all leaders were aligned with the ministry's core values.
2. Rangers Mentoring
This session equipped leaders with effective strategies for building strong, impactful relationships with boys and young men, focusing on spiritual guidance and character development.
3. Rangers Safety (Mandatory Session)
Recognizing the paramount importance of child protection and emergency preparedness, the Rangers Safety module was mandatory, with all 52 participants taking part.
The Safety module included critical sub-lessons:
* Silent Scream, Mental Health, and Cyber Bullying Awareness: Addressing the critical, often hidden, challenges facing today's youth.
* National Ambulance Services: Practical training on how to effectively handle and respond to medical emergencies.

💼 Regional Council Meeting and Staff Reshuffle
The training climaxed with a General Council Meeting where the Regional Director addressed several pressing issues concerning the region's operations and strategies.
A major announcement was the strategic reshuffle and expansion of the Regional Staff. To enhance efficiency and capacity, the Director introduced four additional commanders into the regional leadership team, filling key administrative and functional roles.
The new commanders and their corresponding districts are:
Cmdr Emmanuel prince Opoku Adunkwa(Warfare): From Cape Coast District
Cmdr Benjamin Andam Saah(Camps/Events): From Mfantseman West District
Cmdr Emmanuel Aidoo(Administration/Publicity): From Mfantseman East District
Cmdr ConstanceArthur(Finance/Scribe): From Efutu District
This strategic reshuffle and expansion aims to decentralize workload, foster greater district involvement in regional governance, and ensure dedicated leadership for critical areas like events planning and financial accountability. The Regional Director expressed confidence that the new structure would drive RRCR1 to greater heights of ministry excellence.
